Berserker (Warrior elite spec) is a Power specialisation. Primal Burst and Berserk mode scale with Power and Ferocity. Condition stats are largely wasted.

Bladesworn (Warrior) is a Power specialisation. Dragon Trigger and Gunsaber skills scale with Power and Ferocity. Condition stats provide almost no benefit.

Catalyst (Hammer Elementalist) is a Power/Hybrid DPS spec. Support Elementalist should use Tempest, which provides Overload heals and boon Shouts.

Chronomancer is played as Power DPS or Boon Support. Its phantasms and shatters favour Power or Concentration stats. For condition Mesmer, use Mirage or Virtuoso.

Deadeye is a Power/Precision sniper spec — Malice amplifies Power damage. Condition Thief should use Specter or Daredevil instead.

Dragonhunter and Willbender are Power specialisations. Traps, virtue skills, and the elite skill scale with Power and Ferocity, not Condition Damage.

Druid (Ranger) is a healer spec — Celestial Avatar and Nature Magic scale with Healing Power. Without healing stats the core advantage of Druid is lost. Use Soulbeast or Untamed for DPS.

Firebrand is typically Condition DPS (Viper/Grieving) or Boon Support (Harrier/Minstrel). Pure Power on Firebrand underperforms compared to Dragonhunter or Willbender.

Harbinger (Necromancer) is a condition specialisation — shroud and Elixir skills scale with Condition Damage. Power stats (Berserker/Assassin) severely underperform.

Herald is primarily Power DPS or Quickness support — Facets and Dragon Stance scale with Power/Concentration. Condition Revenant should use Renegade.

Holosmith is a Power DPS spec — Photon Forge scales with Power. Support Engineer should use Scrapper (barrier) or Mechanist (alacrity) instead.

Mirage and Virtuoso are condition specialisations. Mirage relies on confusion/torment, Virtuoso on bleeding. Power stats heavily underperform — use Viper or switch to Chronomancer.

Reaper is a Power specialisation — Gravedigger and Life Blast scale with Power and Ferocity. Condition builds should use Scourge or Harbinger instead.

Renegade (Revenant) is primarily a condition and alacrity-support specialisation. Shortbow and Kalla skills scale with Condition Damage. Viper or Trailblazer are the correct stat sets.

Scourge is a condition specialisation — all shade mechanics scale with Condition Damage. Power stats heavily underperform. Use Viper for PvE or Trailblazer for WvW.

Soulbeast is a DPS spec that sacrifices pet utility for personal damage. Support Ranger should use Druid (the dedicated healer spec) instead.

Specter (Thief) is a condition damage and barrier-support specialisation. Scepter and shroud skills scale with Condition Damage. Power stats deliver far less output.

Spellbreaker (Warrior) is a Power and WvW-focused specialisation. Full Counter and dagger skills scale with Power. Not a strong condition platform.

Tempest is played as Power DPS or Healing support — Overloads favour Power or Healing Power. Condition Elementalist should use Weaver instead.

Thief with empty weapon set B. Thieves use weapon swap for initiative refunds, stealth access, and rotation flexibility. A second set is part of virtually every effective Thief build.

Untamed is a damage spec focused on empowered pet burst and CC. Support Ranger should use Druid, the dedicated healing spec.

Vindicator (Revenant) is a Power specialisation. Jump, Alliance-swap mechanics, and Greatsword damage scale with Power and Ferocity. Condition builds underperform significantly.

Warrior with empty weapon set B. Warriors have a 5s weapon swap and benefit most from two full sets — it resets Burst skills and is central to most rotation damage cycles.

Weaver is a DPS spec for Elementalist — dual-attunement and Sword skills favour Power or Condition DPS. Support Elementalist should use Tempest.
